What's New

The What's New page is where you can see everything that has changed in SOPHIE and everything that is coming next. It is publicly accessible at /whats-new, so anyone can visit it -- no login required.

The page has two tabs: What's New and Roadmap.

What's New tab

This tab shows release notes for each version of SOPHIE, starting with the most recent. Each release includes:

  • Version number and date -- So you know exactly when each update went live.
  • Feature chips -- Small labels that tell you at a glance what areas were affected (for example, SOPs, Dashboard, AI, Billing).
  • Summary -- A markdown-formatted description of what changed and why it matters.
  • Expandable details -- Each release is collapsible. Click to expand a release and read the full notes, or collapse it to keep things tidy. The most recent release starts expanded by default.

This is the easiest way to stay on top of new features, improvements, and bug fixes without needing to check in with your account manager or dig through emails.

Roadmap tab

The Roadmap tab shows every feature we are working on, planning, or considering -- grouped by status:

StatusWhat it means
In ProgressWe are actively building this right now.
PlannedThis is confirmed and on our schedule, but work has not started yet.
RequestedUsers have asked for this. We are evaluating it.
ReleasedThis has shipped and is available in SOPHIE today.

The Roadmap gives you visibility into where SOPHIE is headed and lets you have a say in what gets built next.

Voting on features

If you see a feature in the Roadmap that you want, you can vote for it. Voting helps our team understand which requests matter most to real users.

  • Click the heart icon next to any feature to cast your vote.
  • Click it again to remove your vote if you change your mind.
  • The vote count is visible to everyone, so you can see how much interest a feature has.

Voting requires you to be signed in. If you are not logged in, you will be prompted to sign in before your vote is recorded.

Suggesting a feature

Have an idea that is not on the Roadmap yet? You can submit it directly from this page.

  1. Click the Suggest a Feature button on the Roadmap tab.
  2. Enter a title for your idea (required).
  3. Add an optional description to explain what you are looking for and why it would help.
  4. Click Submit.

Your suggestion is sent to our team for review. If we decide to move forward with it, it will appear on the Roadmap under the Requested status.

Like voting, suggesting a feature requires you to be signed in.

Connection to the Feedback widget

You may have noticed the Feedback widget available inside the SOPHIE app. When you submit a feature request through that widget, it goes to our team for review as well. If a request submitted through the Feedback widget gains traction or aligns with our direction, an admin can promote it to the public Roadmap. Once promoted, other users can see it and vote on it.

This means you have two ways to share ideas: the Feedback widget for quick, in-app submissions, and the Suggest a Feature button on the What's New page for a more public, community-driven approach. Both paths lead to the same place.
