Authentication

SOPHIE uses Auth0 for identity management, providing secure authentication with support for email/password and social login providers.

Signing in

  1. Navigate to app.hisophie.ai.
  2. Enter your email and password, or use a social login provider (Google, etc.).
  3. If you belong to multiple workspaces, select which one to open.

Invitation-based access

New team members are added by a workspace administrator:

  1. Admin sends an invitation from Settings > People or during onboarding.
  2. The team member receives an email with a sign-up link.
  3. After creating their account, they are automatically added to the workspace with their assigned role.

Invitation statuses: Pending, Accepted, Expired.

Session management

  • Sessions are managed via Auth0 tokens.
  • Tokens are automatically refreshed in the background.
  • If your session expires, you'll be redirected to the login page.

Security features

  • IP Restriction -- Workspace admins can configure an IP allowlist. If you attempt to access SOPHIE from a restricted IP, you'll see the option to request access. The request (including your detected location) is sent to workspace administrators for review.
  • Role-based access -- Your role determines which features and data you can access within the workspace.
  • Out-of-office delegation -- When you're unavailable, your approvals and tasks can be delegated to another team member. See Out of Office.
