Team Scorecard
The Team scorecard shows how your team is showing up in SOPHIE: whether people log in and start their day in the app, whether they finish their tasks on time, and whether they help the rest of the team improve. SOPHIE builds it from everyday activity, so nobody has to fill anything in.
It is not the same thing as your practice Scoreboard, which tracks the practice's numbers (production, collections, new patients and so on). The Team scorecard is about people and their work in SOPHIE.
Open the Team scorecard
The Team scorecard opens from your Home dashboard (click the SOPHIE logo at the top left to get there).
- Owners and managers see a team view at the top of Home: Team health, Active today, On track and Needs support. Click any of them to open the full Team scorecard. Clicking a person in the departments card opens their own scorecard.
- Department leads see the same tiles scoped to their own department, headed Department health.
- Team members see their own numbers instead: My score, Days active, Tasks and On-time rate, plus a My scorecard card. Click My score or On-time rate to open your own detailed scorecard.
If you're new, the card reads "Your scorecard appears once Sophie has a few days of activity." Scores need a few days of real activity before they mean anything.
Read the team view
At the top of the Team scorecard page is a strip of four numbers:
| Tile | What it tells you |
|---|---|
| Team score | The weighted average of everyone's score. |
| Active today | How many people have been in SOPHIE today, out of everyone shown. |
| On track | People scoring 85 or above. |
| Need support | People scoring below 70. The tile says it plainly: "worth a 1:1". |
Below that, everyone is listed. Switch between two layouts with the buttons at the top right:
- Cards: one card per person with their score, status and on-time rate, compared with the team average.
- Leaderboard: a table with Team member, Score, Status, Login, Tasks, Team and Last active. Click a column heading to sort by it.

What the score means
Each person gets one overall score from 0 to 100, and a status band that goes with it:
| Score | Status |
|---|---|
| 85 and above | On track |
| 70 to 84 | Steady |
| 55 to 69 | Needs a nudge |
| Below 55 | Needs support |
The scorecard breaks the score into three things that matter:
- Daily login ("Shows up in Sophie"): logs into SOPHIE and starts their day in the app.
- Task completion ("Follows through"): completes assigned tasks and Standard steps on time.
- Team engagement ("Lifts the team"): raises fixes, contributes to Standards, and helps teammates improve.
Behind the overall score, SOPHIE weighs on-time task completion, acknowledging Standards when they're published or updated, the quality of the Standards a person contributes, and how engaged they are with the team. For people who manage others, how their direct reports are doing counts too.
A person's scorecard
A person's detailed scorecard shows:
- Their score ring and status, their role and department, their rank on the team ("Rank 3 of 12") and when they were last active.
- Overall score over time, built from daily snapshots, with a dashed line for the team average.
- The things that matter: each of the three areas above, with its score, how it compares with the team, and a trend line.
- Key numbers: Tasks completed, On-time rate, Overdue, SOPs authored, Comments posted and Days active.
- Tasks (completed, assigned, overdue, in progress) and Engagement details.
Click Back to team to return to the list.
Refresh the scores
Scores are recalculated automatically. If you've just made changes and want to see them reflected sooner, owners and admins can click Refresh at the top of the Team scorecard.
Good to know
- Who can see whose scorecard. Practice owners see everyone. Managers see the people who report to them. Everyone can see their own. If you open a scorecard you don't have access to, SOPHIE says "No scorecard found for this team member, or you don't have access."
- "No scorecards yet" means the team hasn't been active long enough. SOPHIE builds scorecards from everyday activity; give it a few days.
- Use it to support people, not to police them. A low Daily login score often means someone isn't seeing their work in SOPHIE yet, not that they aren't working. A short conversation usually beats a reminder.
- The Send recognition, Nudge and 1:1 note buttons on a person's scorecard aren't connected yet. Clicking them tells you they're coming soon.
