My Day Diagnostics

My Day Diagnostics is a troubleshooting tool for workspace administrators. It shows you exactly what tasks SOPHIE will generate, who they will be assigned to, and why. Navigate to Settings → My Day Diagnostics to access it.

When to use diagnostics

Use this tool when:

  • A team member says they are not seeing a task they expect
  • You want to verify that a new SOP schedule is configured correctly
  • You need to check who Round Robin or Workload will assign a task to next
  • You want to confirm that split schedules are generating the right tasks for the right roles

How it works

The diagnostics page shows a table of all SOPs that will generate tasks, organized by date. For each SOP row, you can see:

  • SOP title and assigned roles
  • Schedule summary — shows per-role details including the role name, frequency, times of day, and assignment type
  • Status — whether the task will generate, has already generated, or is skipped (e.g., office closed, user not scheduled)

Checking assignments

For SOPs marked "Will generate," click the Check button on that row. SOPHIE shows you the assignment breakdown for each time-of-day slot:

  • Assignee name — who the task will go to (or already went to)
  • Status — Pending or Completed
  • Badge — "You" if the task is yours, or "Other" if it belongs to another team member

This is especially useful for Round Robin and Workload SOPs where you want to confirm which person SOPHIE selected.

Future dates

When you check assignments for a future date, SOPHIE shows: "Task assignment will be calculated on that day." This is because Round Robin and Workload assignments depend on real-time data (who is out of office, current task counts) that can change before the date arrives. SOPHIE does not pre-calculate future assignments — it determines them fresh each morning.

For the current day and past dates, the actual assigned person is shown.

Schedule summary details

Each SOP in the diagnostics table shows a schedule summary with per-role information:

DetailWhat it shows
RoleThe role name (e.g., Dental Hygienist)
FrequencyDaily, Weekly, Monthly, etc.
TimesBeginning, During, End — which time slots this role has
Assignment typeEveryone, Round Robin, or Workload

For split-schedule SOPs, each schedule group appears as its own row in the summary, so you can verify that different roles have different configurations.

Tips

  • Run diagnostics after changing a SOP schedule to confirm it is generating tasks on the days you expect.
  • Check the current day to see actual assignments, including who was selected for Round Robin and Workload tasks.
  • Use the date picker to jump to specific days — useful for verifying monthly or quarterly SOPs will fire on the right date.
  • Compare with team member feedback — if someone says they are not getting a task, check diagnostics to see whether the task is generating and who it is assigned to. Common causes: the person's work schedule does not include that day, or they are not assigned to the correct role.
